Among such seekers of sensations is the aspiring publicist Daisy Channing, vigorously striving for fame and success in the art of journalism. The girl is smart and talented enough, but finding the necessary material is terribly problematic, especially since there are also many competitors in this field. By chance, the young curious woman becomes an eyewitness to a terrible murder. The girl-reporter takes on a personal investigation, soon she will learn such details of the crime that she would be better off not knowing. Various well-known people are involved in the resonant case: politicians, leaders of various departments, police officers. Danger will begin to pursue not only Daisy herself, but also her relatives and close friends, but the girl has nowhere to retreat, she must understand everything and survive. The second task will be the most difficult, as people who possess great power and powerful influence are clearly not inclined to leave among the living witnesses who know too much about their illegal activities.
