The management of Star Media film company announced that the second season of the TV series "Tell the Truth" will start in spring 2020.

The finale of the first season was shown to the public in March 2019 and aired on the channel "Russia-1". The suspenseful show is a high-quality adaptation of the work called "Doctor Foster".

The central figure of the narrative becomes an attractive middle-aged lady named Ksenia, who considered herself a happy person for 15 years. She was sincerely grateful to fate for the opportunity to pursue her favorite occupation and for meeting decent people. The charming woman didn't suspect her charming mate of any wrongdoing and sought to surround him with care. She didn't want to part with him and hoped to grow old with him. One day she received terrible information about her own fiancé. She seriously began to believe that her partner was not being faithful to her. The enterprising lady didn't want to doubt her beloved spouse and think that he was cheating on her with leggy beauties. The worried lady stopped sleeping peacefully at night. Intrusive thoughts started haunting her. She couldn't get rid of them. Her mood changed dramatically. To avoid extremes, the brave heroine decided to conduct an independent investigation and find out the truth.

The main roles were played by: Aglaya Shilovskaya, who played in the series "Courage" and "Goodbye, Beloved...", Zoya Kaidanovskaya, who appeared in the feature films "Sprint" and "House of the Sun", Pavel Trubiner, involved in projects "Undercover" and "Fried Chicken", and other artists.

The premiere took place on March 11, 2019. 8 episodes were produced. Fearless Ksenia was planning to expose her husband, but in her search for truth, she unearthed unconventional secrets.
