The TV series "Sleepy Hollow" appeared on the FOX channel's broadcast grid on September 16, 2013. The project's screenwriters were Alex Kurtzman, Len Wiseman, Phillip Iskov, and Roberto Orci, who recently created the storyline for "Star Trek."

The central character in the story is Ichabod Crane, who rises from the dead after his death in the American War of Independence (1775-1783) under the command of General George Washington. After several centuries, he appears in the town of Sleepy Hollow, New York. The local police department cannot believe his story until he begins to tell about the headless horseman. A few days ago, the town sheriff was beheaded by an attacker, who perfectly matches Ichabod's description. Crane shared that right before his death, he chopped off the horseman's head. The only one who believes the time traveler is Lieutenant Abbie Mills. After digging into the facts a bit, they learn that the horseman from the afterlife was summoned by a group of people who use knowledge of occult sciences to conquer the Earth with evil. The situation becomes critical when the mythical horseman on his horse takes an automatic rifle into his hands. Now, only the efforts of Ichabod and Lieutenant Mills can stop the ancient evil that has been unleashed in Sleepy Hollow...
