Strike Back Season 8

Bill Shepard, the producer of the TV series "Counterblow," revealed his intention to shoot the 8th season in 2020.

The "Sky1" channel broadcasted the finale of the 7th part in March 2019. The intriguing story is dedicated to the narrative of a brave fighter's complicated destiny.

The focus is on a charismatic young man named Porter, who was not afraid to risk himself for the sake of difficult missions. He worked for the good of the country and was fully confident that he was doing a good deed. Thanks to his great merits to the country, he is appointed to a managerial position. The man becomes the head of a special unit, the members of which are sent to Iraq to carry out a dangerous mission. The young man does not doubt his own strengths and knew that he would be able to demonstrate himself well and become a leader of a professional team. Despite the brilliant training, the guys failed to save the hostages and overcome the cunning criminals. Unexpectedly, there is an incredible turn of events. As a result, the military falls into a trap and dies, with only John surviving. He returns completely devastated and does not understand how he could fail. The guy leaves the service, but after a certain period of time, he returns to Basra in order to restore justice.

The main roles were played by: Richard Armitage, known for movies "The Hobbit" and "Alice Through the Looking Glass", Philip Winchester, involved in series "Fringe" and "Robinson Crusoe", Sullivan Stapleton, noticed in films "Conviction" and "Hunter", and other actors. In 2012, the dramatic project was nominated for the "Emmy" award.
