In 2013, Japanese directors Yamamoto Hideyo and Mikumo Gakuto released a new fantasy adventure series called "Strike the Blood."

Humanity has signed a peaceful treaty with demonic creatures that cannot be broken. Three influential vampire princes signed it, known as the True Ancestors. However, there is another higher vampire in the world. For unknown reasons, she transferred her powers to high school student Kojo Akatsuki. He went from being an average Japanese high school student to someone who can disrupt the fragile balance. To avoid this, he tries to live a normal life, interact with his relatives and friends, all while carefully guarding his secret. However, his attempts are not always successful. The city where the hero lives is special. It was built for both humans and vampires. The situation becomes tense when the government assigns Yukina Himeragi to the main character. The fifteen-year-old girl, who grew up in a forest monastery, is tasked with monitoring Akatsuki. She uses a unique spear called the "Snowy Waltz" for combat. Yukina decides that the best way to fulfill her mission is to constantly be with the assigned target. This often leads to amusing situations, which put Akatsuki at risk of losing a lot of blood.
