Supergirl release date
The CBS channel launched another superhero TV series "Supergirl" in October 2015. The series is based on a series of DC comics about Superman and is another spin-off.
The script tells the story of a girl with super abilities, Kara Danvers, who comes from the planet Krypton. In the distant past, shortly after her departure, a chain nuclear reaction destroyed her native home and the entire civilization. The girl's mother, Alura, shortly before the tragic events, sent her along with her cousin Kal-El (Superman) to protect him from evil people. As the plot unfolds, it turns out that on Earth, apart from her and her brother, there are hundreds of aliens, most of whom are fugitive criminals who have left the prison ship in the Phantom Zone. Kara's actions attracted the interest of journalists, after which she was dubbed Supergirl in the newspapers. The girl's stepsister works at the Department of Extra-Normal Operations (DEO), headed by Hank Henshaw. She begins her career as a protector of the planet and fights not only intergalactic crime, but also against Astra, who decided to conquer Earth entirely.
The first episode of the TV show was a tremendous success - almost 13 million viewers from the United States watched it in one evening. The well-known studio "Warner Brothers" is responsible for filming the TV series.
