The Last Tycoon Season 2

On June 17, 2016, the only pilot series of the "The Last Tycoon" project appeared on screens, managing to intrigue the audience so much that they are already expecting a continuation, even without finishing the first season.

The filming of the first season, conducted by director Billy Ray and the Amazon channel, is still ongoing, and the remaining episodes are planned to be released only in autumn 2016. If the creators decide to extend it, the second season will not come out before 2017.

The plot revolves around a persistent, smart, and lucky young American named Monroe Starr, living in the United States in the 1930s. The guy decides to take over his mentor Brady's film studio, while representing the true image of a hero of that time. Being a real charmer and heartbreaker, Monroe is resourceful, always thinks rationally, and is used to analyzing any situation. His ambitions overflow, but he lacks the wisdom and experience of Brady. Who will be lucky enough to prevail in this challenging battle, considering that Starr has encountered a girl who now doesn't leave his heart at peace?

It is planned to release 10 episodes, immersed in the atmosphere of the beginning of the development of the US film industry.
