The filming process started in the summer of 2018 in the territory of Charleston.

The ambitious man Jesse Gemstone and his closest relatives are famous evangelists from their young states. They constantly appear on television, delivering religious sermons. The determined members of the influential family travel around the country and gain new followers. The key characters try to convince gullible citizens that they are deeply devout and honest people. The three brave preachers gather stadiums and perform baptism ceremonies. They visually demonstrate to naive parishioners their supposed selflessness, but in reality, they want to profit from kind-hearted townspeople. The head of the powerful clan is the self-absorbed Eli. He knows from experience that there are pitfalls in the chosen field of activity. He has to fend off cunning competitors who dream of surpassing the famous spiritual leaders. The energetic sons willingly follow their enterprising parent and aim to expand their existing audience. A former Satanist, recently saved by the renowned dynasty, is chosen as an excellent example to emulate. The cunning heroes undergo a series of ambiguous trials and try to profit from well-off acquaintances.
