The Tick release date

The main character of the TV series The Tick, the eponymous superhero, was created back in 1986. Ben Edlund created his image as a mascot for a Boston store. Only after that, this idea was adopted to create the character for the film.

The action takes place in a parallel reality. Here is a city of superheroes, and as often happens among people with super abilities, situations arise when heroes switch to the side of evil. This happened to the Terror as well. He had long been planning to attack all living things, the desire to subjugate the world became an obsessive idea for him. Many superheroes tried to resist him. Arthur Everest's father is no exception. However, in their last fight, he was fatally wounded by the enemy. Society decided that the Terror died along with him. Only his own son does not believe this, he believes that the villain simply hid from prying eyes to develop a more careful plan of attack. The boy tries his best to find ways that indicate the enemy's whereabouts. But so far, he has not been lucky. Suddenly he met an amazing character, outwardly quite frightening, but very kind inside. He is blue, massive, and with antennas on his head. The power that the hero possesses is enough to fight the strongest opponent. But there is one "but", The Tick is very naive, his level of erudition wishes for improvement. He himself cannot live in this world, so he asked Arthur to help him. From that moment, their friendship began.
