The new series by American director and producer David Gordon Green. The key extravagant role of the improvisation master was played by actor Tony Dance ("Crash").

This wonderful and very positive series tells the story of the events happening behind the scenes of an evening TV show. The action of the series takes place in the 70s of the twentieth century. The key characters are the creators of the television project, studio employees, guest stars for the show, as well as the close ones to the show's host, whose name is Johnny Carson. Other leading heroes include: the project producer Freddie, who considers himself a god of television and tries to control all the employees, only elevating his own position; as well as the sweet and very young Andy, who performs minor tasks, but she is emotional and sentimental, for her, the whole life inside the television air - a real fairy tale, which one day will be able to make all dreams come true. The biggest and brightest plus in everything that happens is the ability of the main character Johnny Carson to conduct the show, because he skillfully possesses artistic talent and a sharp inquisitive mind, which helps him become a true genius of improvisation and build very good ratings for his show.
