He falls into the trap of his own subconscious, which takes him on a journey through existential worlds, where he is in various different forms. There, he appears as a ruthless hired killer or a noble samurai. This world gradually has a stronger influence on him, and the boundary between the game of consciousness and reality begins to blur terrifyingly quickly. Even powerful drugs have no effect, the mind becomes foggy and confused. Martin realizes that he is completely entangled in a world where battling personalities rule and refuse to live peacefully.
