Training Day Season 2

The famous 2001 criminal film "Training Day" will already become a full-fledged TV series in 2017, from the same producer Antoine Fuqua, who is placing great hopes on this adaptation.

The premiere will take place on CBS, whose management has entrusted the director's chair to Danny Cannon. With good reviews and high ratings, the film is expected to receive season 2, which will not be seen before 2018.

What the second season will delight with

It is planned that the action of the police series will continue the story that began 15 years ago. The main characters have changed - the hardened investigator Harris will be portrayed by a fair-skinned man, and his ward Jake will be played by a dark-skinned guy (in the original film, the situation is reversed). Jake has just joined the department for combating illegal drug trafficking and is still unfamiliar with the nuances of such crimes. His mentor is a controversial figure: despite his talent for catching criminals, his methods sometimes upset others. Will these two work together or only hinder the common cause?

Although Antoine Fuqua has the key role in filming, most of the script was developed by Will Bill, who decided to include the authoritative Holly McCabe in the plot, the owner of the local brothel, adding elements of comedy and drama to the action film.
