He did not know who to stay with among the young women, so he turned to a reliable friend for advice. The cheerful friend suggested an interesting way out of the situation. He suggested to Anatoly to have an affair with a young lady outside his circle and find out which of the lovers he would be drawn to after infidelity. The hero met a lovely beauty and seduced her. Later, it turned out that she was pregnant. But the other two ladies also suddenly informed him that they were expecting children.
