Meredith Averill, the producer of the sci-fi TV series "Ghosts of Hill House," revealed that Season 2 will be aired closer to the fall of 2019.

Netflix premiered the finale of the first season in January 2019. The creators of the project decided to attract viewers' attention by blending multiple genres in one story, ranging from mystery to detective.

The events take place in the 1990s in a picturesque town where a notable mansion called "Hill House" is located. The walls of this mysterious building have seen a lot. They have to keep the terrifying secrets of its residents. It is to this place that the respectable Crane family moves. The married couple sincerely hopes to find long-awaited peace here. The charming woman named Olivia is a talented architect. Her husband, Hugh, hopes to renovate the giant mansion and sell it at a higher price later on. However, unexpected things soon happen. The house scares its inhabitants with its mystery. Animals howl at night, and doors open by themselves. The children see a strange lady who frightens them with her appearance. When the mother is found dead, the father packs their bags and leaves the ill-fated place with the children. The representatives of the younger generation grow up and almost lose contact. They do not want to establish contact but dream of uncovering the truth about their mother's death.

The key roles were played by: Michiel Huisman, who appeared in feature films "Wild" and "Wild Mountain", Oliver Jackson-Cohen, who starred in films "Faster" and "Healer", Carla Gugino, who participated in films "Wolves" and "Match", and other artists.

The premiere started on October 12, 2018. It consists of 10 episodes. The plot revolves around members of a dysfunctional family who encounter a ghost.
