Starting from April 6, 2014, the AMC channel has been broadcasting an exciting movie by a team of outstanding directors led by Edward Bianchi, Rupert Wyatt, and Nick Copus. The main storylines of the movie are taken from the pages of one of Alexander Rose's popular novels.

The key character, Abe Woodhull, was born during challenging times in the United States when numerous settlements consisting of British colonists were dreaming of proclaiming their independence. The Long Island, where the hero grew up, made a living by cattle breeding on the territories that belonged to his family. However, in the late 18th century, in the 70s, Abe's possessions were taken over by settlers, preventing him from maintaining his usual lifestyle and managing the farm. Most of the man's neighbors resigned themselves to the fate of the conquered and enslaved citizens, but the freedom-loving farmer decided to take a brave step and created a small partisan detachment behind enemy lines. Establishing communication with the mainland, he regularly informed the government of the country about the tactical actions of Great Britain on the occupied territory. Thanks to the courage and resourcefulness of an ordinary rural resident, the US army was able to conduct battles skillfully and liberate Long Island from the enemy.
