Veronica Mars Season 5

A representative of Silver Pictures Television announced that the 5th season of the dramatic series "Veronica Mars" will be prepared for release by mid-2020.

The finale of the 4th season was broadcasted on "The CW" channel in the summer of 2019. After a 12-year break, the creators decided to shoot a continuation of the detective story.

Veronica spent her childhood and youth in a small town called Neptune. Her father was the sheriff of the town and for a long time brilliantly caught criminals. However, the next investigation put an end to his career and forced him to become a private detective. The resourceful daughter followed in her father's footsteps. She helped him monitor suspects and pick locks. During that time, the young girl was finishing school. She didn't have friends with her classmates, who started treating her poorly after the murder of her close friend Lily. She was the heiress of a wealthy businessman and was swimming in money. After her death, the main character set out to find out who the real criminal was. At the same time, she was investigating mysterious incidents that happened in the city with alarming regularity. After uncovering the truth, she had to leave her homeland. Due to certain circumstances, she returned after ten years of absence. The grown-up beauty continued to engage in detective work and expose the scoundrels.

The key roles were played by Kristen Bell, noted for her roles in the feature films "Rescue" and "Everybody Loves Whales," Enrico Colantoni, a star of the films "House of Versace" and "The Dark Knight Rises," Ryan Hansen, who appeared in the movies "Unicorn Store" and "Central Intelligence," and other artists.

The premiere took place on September 22, 2004. More than 70 episodes were filmed. The plot revolves around a resourceful girl who is not afraid to uncover the secrets of her acquaintances.
