The focus is on a brave and principled guy named Rick, who is one of the last to learn about the impending apocalypse. He woke up in a hospital room and realized that there was no one around. Loved ones and all the hospital staff suddenly disappeared. After going outside, the situation became clear. Bloodthirsty monsters roamed the city, feeding on human blood. They didn't let any citizen pass if they encountered them on the way. Grimes worked in the police, so he knew how to make quick decisions in extreme situations. He managed to find shelter in a safe house. However, his desire to find his family members made him move on. The courageous law enforcement officer reunited with his closest relatives. Despite the efforts made, the joy of the reunion was short-lived. He lost his wife and eldest son. He was left with a charming little girl, who was born after the unexpected zombie invasion. It was this lovely little daughter who gave him the strength not to give up and to engage in unequal confrontation not only with monstrous creatures but also with heartless people.

The key roles were played by: Norman Reedus, known for the films "The Limit" and "Rumor Has It," Melissa Suzanne McBride, who appeared in the feature films "Dinosaur Island" and "Living Proof," Danai Gurira, who took part in the films "Three Families" and "Take My Soul," and other actors.
