The final episode of the 4th season of the detective drama "Wentworth" was shown on July 25, 2016. Fans of the series are eager to know when they will be able to enjoy the next episodes of the show.
It is already officially known that the premiere of the 5th season of the Australian series, directed by Kevin Carlin and produced by the "Foxtel" film studio on the order of the SoHo TV channel, will take place on May 2, 2017.
What will happen in the 5th season
The main action takes place on the territory of an Australian women's prison, the existence and location of which are strictly classified and known only to a limited number of dedicated individuals. Here, its own laws reign, which must be followed by any person, regardless of whether they are a prisoner or a law enforcement officer. Each separate episode tells the life path of one of the characters: their fate, family, habits, conditions, and circumstances that led them to prison. Subsequent seasons reveal more and more secrets not only of the inmates of Wentworth, but also of its staff, who are actually not much different from their prisoners.
The project had a successful start on May 1, 2013, and the first season consisted of 10 episodes. After high ratings, the creators of the series decided that each season would have at least 12 episodes, full of unexpected twists and captivating moments.
