In reality, bloodsuckers are not average citizens who have nothing to hide from the government. Charismatic guys have been living on the planet for centuries. They had the opportunity to observe how the state developed and its inhabitants changed. Despite their longevity, the key characters could not cope with unpleasant incidents and come to terms with colossal changes. A millennium ago, everything was much clearer and easier. Now they need to stand at the entrance to a public place and prove to demanding guards that they are worthy of entering entertainment establishments. The latest innovations bring unimaginable inconveniences to the poor creatures. Tired of their dismal existence, vampires do not want to venture out of hiding. Sun rays are deadly to them. The main characters find it amazing to watch how ordinary people spend years on mundane things. Eccentric bloodsuckers settle in a sleepless metropolis and hope to cope with the looming trials. Supernatural creatures approach their neighbors and hope to find shelter in plain sight.
