The long-awaited 2nd season of the Russian crime drama "Yellow Eye of the Tiger" will be released at the end of 2020, as assured by the executive producer of the action movie, Igor Tolstunov.

The final series of the first part will be presented to the viewers in the second half of 2018. The broadcast is conducted by the "First Channel". The events begin to unfold in the 88th year of the 20th century. The setting is Kaliningrad.

Plot Announcement for Season 2

The story revolves around a group of friends who were practically inseparable in their childhood years. They not only studied at the same educational institution, but also had common interests, and were ready to stand up for each other in case of urgent necessity. They are confident that together they can overcome any difficulties and become fabulously rich if they desire. The guys decide to organize a small joint business for the extraction of amber. Contrary to expectations, they couldn't get along with each other and due to unsolvable disagreements, they decided to split up. Years later, fate once again brings together the main characters of the project. Each of them has achieved good results and managed to amass a fortune. From ordinary workers, they have turned into influential but ruthless entrepreneurs, ready to cut the throats of their inconvenient competitors. For even greater enrichment, they are not averse to using illegal methods to fight their opponents and without hesitation, they can order an assassination.

The images of the key characters were brilliantly embodied by Katerina Shpitsa, a star of feature films "A Gift with Character" and "The Crew", Pavel Priluchnyi, who gained fame after the release of the films "Baron" and "Invisibles", Maxim Kostromykin, known for his participation in the TV series "The Beat" and "Olga", and other artists.

The premiere will take place in 2018. A total of 16 episodes have been filmed. The script tells the story of a group of people who have chosen a slippery path and, until a certain point, have never regretted their shameful actions.
