Acht Tage Season 2

The second season of the foreign mini-series "Eight Days" can be expected to be released in the first half of 2020, as assured by producer Simon Amberger.

The finale of the first part will take place at the end of 2018 and will be shown on the "Sky" channel. The events unfold in Germany.

What will be shown in the 2nd season

The residents of Berlin and the surrounding areas unexpectedly encounter an insurmountable obstacle that threatens their lives. The research team learns about the imminent approach of the end of the world. The apocalypse could very well happen, and the cause of the tragedy must be a large asteroid hurtling at great speed. Every week it is about to collide with our planet and cause a catastrophic disaster. Influential politicians and brilliant scientists make persistent attempts to prevent the inevitable. They realize that achieving the desired outcome is practically impossible. The government does not want to endanger the people, but does not know how to protect the citizens. Berliners receive information about the misfortune that has befallen them. The common calamity forces the key characters to reconsider their life values and reflect on whether they are on the right path. Some citizens prefer not to hold grudges against their loved ones and make peace with them. However, there are also individuals in the district who categorically refuse to forget past grievances. Conflicts do not wait long to arise.

The following artists participated in the project: David Bredin, who appeared in films such as "Amelie is Running" and "The Medicine for Health", Louisa-Celine Gaffron, who made an appearance in the series "Deadly Crossword", Claude Heinrich, who starred in the feature film "Berlin Syndrome", and some others.

Viewers will be able to watch the premiere in the autumn of 2018. 8 episodes were filmed. The heroes fight desperately for a chance at a happy future.
