A Discovery of Witches Season 2

A representative of the Bad Wolf film studio has announced the intention to show episodes of the 2nd season of the television series "A Discovery of Witches" in the second half of 2019.

The finale of the first part is expected to be broadcast on the "SKY 1" channel in the autumn of 2018. The thrilling drama is based on the eponymous book written by Deborah Harkness.

The central figure of the narrative is a magnificent female historian who loves her own work. She sincerely believes that she is engaged in an interesting task that will bear fruit in the foreseeable future. One day, she goes to a huge repository where the most valuable exhibits are located. Among the ancient objects is an ancient alchemist's manuscript that catches the attention of the charming girl. She carefully examines the unique object and unwittingly commits an irreversible action. The determined heroine awakens mysterious forces. Ordinary mortals do not suspect that supernatural beings inhabit their immediate vicinity. Diana belongs to the clan of the greatest witches on Earth. She does not like such kinship. The beauty categorically refuses to deal with magical abilities and has no intention of applying them in practice. Suddenly, her paths cross with an attractive scientist. The lovely woman becomes interested in the attractive man. Suddenly she learns about his membership in a vampire dynasty.

The leading roles are played by: Teresa Palmer, notable for her roles in the films "Lights Out" and "Message from the King", Matthew Goode, who participated in feature films "Stoker" and "A Single Man", Malin Buska, who appeared in the films "The Girl King" and "The Crown" and other actors.

The premiere can be seen on September 14, 2018. It consists of 5 episodes. At the center of the story is a charming young lady who possesses supernatural gift.
