Anne Season 2

Suzanne Murdoch, the producer of the Canadian project "Anne," announced that the release of Season 2 is scheduled for the first half of 2018.

Netflix aired the finale of the first part in April 2017. This dramatic TV series is based on the famous work of the outstanding writer Lucy Maud Montgomery.

The main character becomes a charming little girl with fiery red hair. The poor thing lost her parents, which forced her to grow up in various orphanages. She faced constant deprivation, humiliation, and insults. Despite the trials she went through, her soul did not harden, and she did not stop being an open and believing person. The young girl really wanted to find a real family and feel needed by society. And at the age of 13, she managed to leave the orphanage. Elderly people, who were like brother and sister to each other, wanted to adopt a child. They chose a charming boy, but due to the confusion in their estate, they actually ended up with Anne. They did not refuse the orphan and accepted her with open arms. The elderly people really liked the girl's character, especially her attitude towards ordinary things. She could spend hours admiring nature or inventing amazing fantasy stories.

The following artists participated in the filming: Amybeth McNulty, known for the films "Morgan" and "Agatha Raisin," Dalila Bela, who appeared in the films "Odd Squad" and "The Dead Heart," Geraldine James, star of the films "Daphne" and "Alice Through the Looking Glass," and some others.

The premiere episode started on March 19, 2017. There are 7 episodes filmed. In their quite advanced age, the Cuthberts decide to brighten up their dull existence by taking care of the lovely girl.
