At the end of October 2015, the Starz television channel from the United States launched the series "Ash vs Evil Dead". The idea of the "Evil Dead" Universe was born back in distant 1981, so the released show does not need any additional advertising.

The script of the series unfolds in our time. Ash is a home appliance salesman with a rather shady past. About thirty years ago, he found himself in the midst of a massacre with ominous deadites, whom he himself unleashed into this world along with his friends. During their vacation, they find an ancient book wrapped in human skin and filled with terrifying illustrations. After they read the text inside, a real hell on Earth unfolds around them. The only one who survived in this chaos is Ash, who cut off his own hand and killed all the deadites. But he hid the book with the horrifying spells in a locked box, inside his trailer.

One fine day, he brought a girl to his place, with whom they smoked marijuana together. Wanting to surprise his companion, he opened the book and, under the influence, read its contents, which once again caused a cosmic apocalypse. The events around them start to repeat! The only one who can stop the end of the world is Ash and his chainsaw.

The first season will consist of 10 episodes, each lasting forty minutes. The incomparable Broadway star, Bruce Campbell, will play the role of Ash Williams. The series was renewed for a second season even before the release of the first, which promises early success for the project.
