TNT in 2016 is preparing an immense number of premieres of TV shows - "Poor People" is no exception. The idea for the project belongs to the creators of "The Real Boys", a series filmed as a reality show.

The screenplay tells the story of a writer from St. Petersburg, whose life is filled with one failure after another. The black streak in his life doesn't seem to end. The main character, who goes by the nickname "Poor People", has lost his wife and daughter over the past year, as they left him for a more successful man, and his writing career doesn't bring in a single penny. In an attempt to earn some means of existence, he gets a job with Olya Buzova according to his main calling. Day after day, he plunges into an unhappy routine. This fate becomes unbearable for him, and he decides to end his life by suicide. This task also proves to be beyond his abilities - already being in the noose, he slips after the ceiling collapses. Neighbors from above come to him, who change his views on life and a difficult fate fundamentally.

The new multi-part film will be launched in early 2016. The comedy series will be brightened up by the stars of the TV show "Dom-2" and other famous actors. Don't miss the premiere with our website.
