Better Call Saul release date
The TV series "Better Call Saul" premiered on AMC on February 8, 2015. The show, created by Peter Gould and Vince Gilligan, is a spin-off of the popular crime drama "Breaking Bad". In a short period of time, the show has received 2 Critics' Choice Television Awards and four Emmy nominations.
The plot of the TV series follows the story of a versatile lawyer from Albuquerque named Jimmy McGill, who works as a public defender. In order to attract more interest, he takes on the pseudonym Saul Goodman on the advice of his brother and desperately tries to find clients. He records a commercial and airs it on local television. Instead of a successful business, Jimmy has an old yellow Japanese car and an office in a technical space in a Vietnamese beauty salon. His life changes after he becomes involved in a major criminal scheme.
The first season starts in 2002, six years before the story of Walter White and Jesse Pinkman. The script periodically intersects with the original series and makes references to future events. In the beginning of the second part of the crime drama, Saul is faced with events that will eventually lead him into the drug business.
