The sequel to the crime drama "Blizkie" by TV-3 channel and Petr Buslov will not be filmed. The second season of the show has been cancelled because within the framework of the project "To be or not to be," the pilot episode received a rating of only 64% instead of 75%.
The first season of the television series "Blizkie" was filmed in 2016. The actions of the show are intended to evoke the spirit of the 90s and action films similar to the cult films "Boomer", "Brigade", and other gangster films of Russian production from the early 2000s.
Plot Synopsis
The question "Will Andrey Akimov be able to change his worldview after coming close to death?" remained unanswered. A seasoned gangster from Bogomolovo, who crossed the age of forty, has accumulated a large family, wealth, and as many enemies as friends. But his children have no intention of becoming authorities like their "dad". Therefore, after Akimov leaves the criminal organization, his entire empire falls apart. Andrey decides to take a desperate step - to become an ordinary person and direct all his efforts towards resolving family relationships. But an investigator from Moscow arrives in town, wanting to cleanse the province of provincial mafia.
The main role in the show is played by Vladimir Vdovichenkov, who is known to viewers as Kot in "Boomer" and Phil in "Brigade". Andrey's daughter, Katya, is played by Lyubov Aksenova.
The script for the series "Blizkie" was originally written by Petr Buslov as a comedy, but the plot took on a dramatic character on the set.
