The sensational American television series about a large family of hereditary police officers, which premiered in late September on the CBS channel. The main guiding mentor for all his own offspring in the service of law is Frank Reagan, the current Police Commissioner in the city of New York. In his youth, he also followed in the footsteps of his father Henry, who is now retired. Having lost his wife, Frank now single-handedly tries to arrange the lives of all his grown-up children. He has four of them, all of whom, like their father, uphold law and order, though each in their own methods. For example, his only daughter works as an assistant prosecutor, and the eldest son Danny, who previously served in the United States Marine Corps, now occasionally resorts to very questionable actions in his police work, which greatly concerns Frank. Another son, Joe, was killed in a shootout with criminals. The circumstances of this case are being investigated by the young talent of the Reagan family, Jamie, who has graduated from Harvard Law School. The young man has turned down a prestigious job in the field of jurisprudence and now secretly participates in the internal investigation of his brother's death, without his father's knowledge.
