The main actors of this project, Sean Bean and Mark Stanley, previously worked together in the cult TV series "Game of Thrones."

The action takes place in an industrial city in northern Britain. The factory suburbs of Misty Albion have long been known for their tough character. Here, strict laws of life and a high level of crime prevail. The police in such cities are rarely without work. Father Michael serves in one of the poor Catholic parishes. His image differs from the historical representation of priests and their views. He tries to be a modern, sociable person, who is not unfamiliar with the mistakes of ordinary people. In his parish, he often holds services and confesses those who come. Most of the city residents live under difficult economic and social conditions. This often forces them to commit bad deeds. In confessions, they tell their complex and ambiguous stories to Father Michael. He does his best to help them, understanding how difficult life is for these people. Many who learn about the man's way of working have a very negative attitude towards it. Despite all the difficulties, the preacher, not sparing his efforts, tries to understand the life situation of each parishioner in order to help the lost person resolve their difficulties.
