A worker of the film company Anonymous Content assured the audience that the second season of the mini-series "Catch-22" will be available for viewing in the middle of 2020.

The last episode of the 1st season was shown on the channel "Hulu" in the spring of 2019. This project is based on a suspenseful work written by Joseph Heller.

What will be the plot of the 2nd season

The events take place in 1944. The story revolves around a principled captain named Yossarian, who serves in a bombing squadron. Along with the other soldiers, he had to be stationed on a small island near the Tyrrhenian Sea. He dreams of getting discharged and being able to return to his loved ones. He has no desire to fight the enemies and take their lives. However, the higher-ups adamantly refuse to make concessions and demand incredible self-sacrifice. There comes a moment when the young soldier realizes that he can no longer deal with the enemies. He makes a firm decision to refuse to engage in the bloody struggle. To be denied flights, the resourceful guy pretends to be mentally unstable. He refers to a specific regulation and requests to be relieved from duty. However, someone who voluntarily admits to insanity cannot be considered truly sick. The situation reaches an impasse, and the main character can't figure out how to achieve justice.

Notable key roles include: Christopher Abbott, who played in the feature films "Piercing" and "Katie Says Goodbye", Giancarlo Giannini, known for the films "The Chef and the Critic" and "Shadows in the Sun", Kyle Chandler, involved in the films "The Vatican" and "Game Night", and other artists.

The premiere took place on May 17, 2019. There are 6 episodes prepared. At the center of the story is a drafted soldier who found himself in a difficult trap.
