Interestingly, the pilot episode of the show Chernobyl: Zone of Exclusion appeared back in 2006. One of the creators and the ideological inspirer of the project, Evgeny Nikishov, who at that time held the position of deputy general producer of TNT, said that the trial strokes were not at all similar to the final product. The first version of the series had a similar concept to the movie "The Blair Witch Project". The main characters tell the story of their journey to the city of Chernobyl from a first-person perspective. But subsequently, the screenwriter Ilya Kulikov helped create a cohesive show and make it truly interesting. From the initial idea, he only kept the names of the actors who participated in the trial and wrote a completely new script for the series.

On the way to the reactor, Leshiy Gorelov is attacked by Mexican criminals. In order to help him out of trouble, Vershinin has to turn back and postpone the task for another day. Former KGB employee, Sergey Kostenko, tries in every way to help save the country from a nuclear explosion. But he does not suspect that his actions are changing the future of the USSR. Soon he will learn about this and will be faced with a difficult choice - the fate of one person or the whole country.
To participate in the show, TNT management deliberately selected young and not yet very well-known actors. They invited Kostya Davydov, Valeriya Dmitrieva, Sergey Romanovich, Kristina Kazinskaya, Anvar Khaliluaev, Ilya Shcherbinin, and others to act.
There are only 2 episodes left until the finale of the TV series "Chernobyl: Zone of Exclusion", which separate viewers from the resolution of the story about the journey to the United States. In total, the second season plans to show eight episodes, just like in the first part of the show.
