Chernobyl: Zona otchuzhdeniia Season 2

Chernobyl: Zona otchuzhdeniia Season 2 release date

The first season of the mystical series about the journey of five teenagers to a closed zone away from people consisted of only eight forty-minute episodes.

Official data on the release date of the second season of Chernobyl: Zone of Exclusion by TNT has not been heard by anyone yet. This is not surprising, just recently the media company shared at ROSKON that the filming process will only start in the autumn of 2015. At the same time, they also talked about the plot of the first episode of the second season, which will be called "The Beautiful Far Away". In the first scene, Vershinin receives a phone and a foreign passport with which he will go abroad.

The creation of the new season of the TV series continued until November 2, 2016, when the last scene was filmed. After that, the director and the film crew began post-production, which is the final part of creating the episodes. From this it follows that we will see the continuation and the 9th episode of the series Chernobyl: Zone of Exclusion in November 2017! Official sources are already spreading this information. In addition, after a change in leadership, TNT channel slightly changed its course and completely abandoned the show. However, the series itself will not disappear, it will be shown by the affiliated channel of the Gazprom Media network - TV-3.

What will happen in Season 2 of Chernobyl: Zone of Exclusion

The plot ends when the main character Pasha Vershinin finds himself back in his own time, but there is no Russian Federation - the USSR was not destroyed in 1990. However, they failed to prevent the disaster, it happened four months later in the USA. Against this background, a civil war begins in the country. In order to return to the previous world, he will have to use a time travel device and go to America... There, together with his friend Alexey, they will go to the site of the nuclear disaster. They can only return to the past through anomalous zones, which, as they think, also form in the contaminated area.

Some of the roles in the series will change - Gosh from the nerd will turn into a cool guy, and Lesh will, on the contrary, be wearing glasses and be a diligent student. Nastya is no longer dating Gorelov, but has chosen his more daring friend. Filming for Chernobyl: Zone of Exclusion took place not only in Moscow, but also in the United States, where the actors and the film crew moved for several months. Photos from the filming reveal part of the plot - the guys will have a real American car on which they will have to travel on highways.

About the series

Season 2 of the Zone of Exclusion Chernobyl: Zone of Exclusion - one of the coolest TV shows on TNT. In just eight episodes, it found a lot of support from viewers. This is not surprising, as the filming was done by the western director Anders Banke. To a greater extent, the project can be called a multi-episode film, as the plot develops quite dynamically. The story tells about a group of teenagers who, after a fun party, discover the disappearance of a large sum of money from a safe. The thief goes to the mysterious city of Chernobyl, where he becomes a hostage of the "Zone". Everything turns out to be more complicated than the guys thought - the trip was planned in advance by Colonel Sergey Kostenko.
