In March 2017, the filming of the series "Fourth Shift" began. The film, directed by Alexey Bystritsky, will be released on the NTV channel. One of the main roles in the series will be played by a monk from the Russian Shaolin Monastery.

The story revolves around Danila Chetkov. The guy had been working in the Ministry of Internal Affairs for a long time, but due to his unruly behavior, he was demoted. Now he has to work as an investigator in the Chinese district of Moscow. Like no one else, Danila knows that there are laws of its own in Moscow's China, and his task is to catch those whose intentions do not comply with the Criminal Code. Chetkov finds it quite difficult to fulfill his duties since no one supports or helps him. One day, the police officer meets a new resident of the Chinese district - a teacher named Yong. He recently arrived in Moscow, trying to find his daughter, as she has not been in touch with her relatives for a long time. Achieving the goal of his visit proves to be more difficult for the desperate father than he thought, as he doesn't even know Russian language. Danila decides to help Yong figure out what could have happened to the young girl and where to look for her. Soon, the guys become best friends, ready to support each other even in the most difficult situations.
