A crime series about the 90s era (so-called "wild 90s"). The premiere of the series took place on NTV channel on October 26, 2015.

The life of the Soviet people changed significantly after the collapse of the Union. People had to adapt to the changing conditions. Some completely disappeared, while others led miserable existences. Those who were most prepared for such conditions took advantage of the weak through deceit and force. The main character of the series is Misha Tabak. He is a cynical bandit who achieves his goals by any possible means. Thanks to the firmness of his character and his loyal entourage, he accomplishes the tasks set before him. Misha does not recognize authorities or power, and human life means nothing to him. But even he has an opponent - the criminal authority Fomichev. Tabak has his eye on Matilda, a prostitute who has a side affair with Fomichev. Moreover, the bandit himself is married to Anna. His wife is faithful and ready to endure the hardships and deprivations of the thief's life. However, Fomichev himself is captivated by Matilda and dreams of leaving the country with her. When he learns about Matilda's relationship with Tabak, he accepts it with pain, but lets her go, as he decides to remain faithful to his wife. Misha Tabak ends up behind bars, but even in this situation, Fomichev presents an unexpected surprise and makes a generous gesture.
