Colony release date
On January 14, 2016, the science fiction drama "Colony" premiered on the USA Network channel. The creation of this TV series was led by Carlton Cuse, who is known and beloved for the project "Lost".
The plot takes viewers to the near future. Humanity is enslaved by an extraterrestrial civilization that has separated the cities from each other with high walls and established round-the-clock security. Now human settlements are called "Blocks" where strict curfew is enforced. Many families are separated and resettled in different places. All attempts to revolt are harshly suppressed and it seems that humanity has no more chances. The main characters of the series are the Bowman family, Katie and Will, whose 12-year-old son Charlie was taken away. William goes illegally beyond the wall to retrieve the child, but his attempt fails. However, his actions are noticed by the underground forces of the Resistance, who recruit the former FBI agent of the United States. Bowman will be the key figure who will start liberating people from alien slavery...
