The TV series "Constantine" from the NBC channel started on October 24, 2014. The plot of the show is based on the comic book series "Hellblazer" from DC Comics.

The script revolves around the exorcist John Constantine. At the beginning of the story, he undergoes treatment in a psychiatric hospital, where he tries to hide from the supernatural world. Upon learning that the daughter of his longtime friend Zed Martin is in danger, he returns to fighting supernatural forces. Long before meeting John, the medium girl Zed saw him in her dreams and drew his image. As it turned out, there is a world of spirits, demons, angels, and other creatures around her, which ordinary people cannot see. The side effect of this talent is the increased interest of the forces of Hell in the psychic, as they also begin to see Zed and want to escape from their own world through her. Helping the guys to exorcise demons will be Constantine's friend, the taxi driver Chas Chandler, who, after saving him from death in a fire at a nightclub, has 47 lives, as well as the heavenly messenger angel Manny. Through his fight against supernatural creatures, John tries to earn the favor of heaven in order to go to paradise, as he had to send the innocent soul of a girl to hell before going to the psychiatric hospital.
