Conviction release date
The American multi-part drama "Conviction" (alternative title - "Приговор") will premiere on small screens on October 3, 2016. The creators of the project are Liz Friedlander (producer and director, known for series such as "The Vampire Diaries", "The Following", "Sleepy Hollow", etc.) and Liz Friedman (producer of "Xena: Warrior Princess", "House", "Jessica Jones", etc.), and the main roles are played by Hayley Atwell ("Captain America: The First Avenger", "Agent Carter") and Shawn Ashmore ("X-Men", "The Following").
Hayes Morrison is the daughter of a former US president and a successful lawyer. One day, as a result of a manipulation that Morrison herself is unaware of, she is appointed as the head of a New York institution called the Conviction Integrity Unit. The employees of this department are lawyers, detectives, and forensic experts whose task is to review convictions when there are suspicions of wrongful imprisonment. Hayes did not expect to shoulder the burden of responsibility of managing a whole department, and she certainly did not choose this job. Since her appointment, the main protagonist realizes that being a leader is much more challenging than simply being a lawyer...
