The premiere season of the criminal drama "Conviction" is set to start on October 3, 2016. Fans of the genre are already wondering today if the story about a not quite standard law firm will have a continuation.
The ABC channel, which is in charge of the project's filming, did not provide any explanations about the second season. However, director Liz Friedlander is confident that viewers will love the project and will definitely see a continuation expected in late 2017.
About the plot of the second season
Carter Morrison is the daughter of the most influential family in Los Angeles, leading an impeccable political career and not tolerating disobedience. However, Carter is one of those children who are not ready to obey their family and do everything as they see fit. Her parents assign her to head the Union of Belief Integration, which deals with reviewing already completed court cases. Their main task is to determine with the help of experienced investigators, forensic experts, and lawyers whether a real criminal was caught or an innocent person received a sentence. Will such work become Carter's true calling, or will it only be a burden to her?
It is known that at least 10 episodes were filmed for the premiere season, although the exact number remains uncertain.
