Russian historical drama. Premiere - November 5, 2017. The film was made in honor of the centenary of the revolution. The director was Fyodor Bondarchuk, together with Vladimir Hotinenko. The main roles are played by Bondarchuk himself, as well as Yevgeny Mironov, Paulina Andreeva, and Maxim Matveev.

The events narrate the year 1915, when the First World War was raging in Europe. Alexander Parvus establishes diplomatic relations with Gotlieb Jagow. Alexander is an adventurer and an emigrant, he wants to "extract" a financial subsidy from the German Foreign Minister for the revolution in Russia. Unexpectedly for Parvus, the negotiations end successfully and he is allocated the necessary amount. Together with Vladimir Ilyich Lenin, Alexander begins preparations for the February Revolution. For this, he needs to return to his homeland with full pockets of money. In contrast to these characters, Alexei Mezentsev is presented. Being an agent of the Emperor's intelligence, he wants to prevent the possible end of the Romanov dynasty's rule in the Union. The complication is that both Alexander Parvus and Alexei Mezentsev are in love with Sophia Rudneva. The young revolutionary can ruin the plans of both her suitors, who instead of fulfilling their tasks may become too enamored with the girl.
