Semyon settled in quickly, learned the thieves' code, and did not allow himself to disregard the rules of the new life. Soon, elite criminals found out about Babushkin, conducting long checks to determine his worthiness and adherence to the thief's way of life, they bestowed upon him the title. The following years were not difficult, as his influence continued to grow, and the respect towards Babushkin presented him with incredible opportunities. After thirty-five years, it was time for him to bid farewell to the bars on the windows and step into an unfamiliar world. He learned a lot about himself during the long years of serving, and now the protagonist wants to start a new life. Suddenly, news of the existence of his son, Slava, reaches him. The former prisoner was delighted, but fate had prepared new challenges for him. The authority will have to help his son because the young investigator has been framed, and now he and his family are in danger. Semyon will have to use all his connections to help vindicate Slava. But he will once again have to immerse himself in the world of crime. How will the authority, who has decided to break with the past, act?
