Dirilis Ertugrul Season 5

Tekden Film movie company announced that the screening of the 5th season of the Turkish TV series «Dirilis Ertugrul» will take place in autumn 2018.

The final of the 4th part is expected to be broadcasted on the channel "TRT 1" closer to the summer of 2018. The events unfold in the 13th century on the territory of the Ottoman Empire. The story is about the history of its creation.

The main protagonist of the drama becomes an outstanding figure who managed to establish a great state. He is the parent of Osman I and the leader of the Turkic peoples. Together with a squadron of soldiers, he arrives in Anatolia with the intention of defeating the Byzantine army and conquering leadership positions. The powerful warrior has a fearless character and immense will to win. He is confident that his devised plan will help him overcome dangerous opponents. Thanks to incredible bravery and loyalty of his comrades, he managed to recapture the western lands of Asia Minor and firmly establish himself in fertile lands. His beloved partner never left him in trouble and constantly accompanied him on military campaigns. His beloved woman tried to support the chosen one in any undertakings and, if necessary, provided him with a friendly shoulder. She not only protected the hearth, but also gave valuable advice to her husband. Together, the couple solved an unimaginable number of state-importance problems and overcame numerous obstacles.

The main roles were played by: Engin Altan, who starred in the films "The Path to Solitude" and "Romantic Comedy 2", Cengiz Coşkun, who participated in the mini-series "Broken Hearts" and "Nehir", Osman Soykut, involved in the films "The Perfect Couple" and "Salomea Wilde", and other actors.

The premiere started on December 10, 2014. Over 100 episodes have been filmed. The screenplay tells about the courageous conqueror, his life, and difficult trials.
