Doktor Anna Season 2

The film studio Bubblegum Production, responsible for the production of the domestic melodrama "Doctor Anna", has announced their decision to extend the story to the 2nd season, which is tentatively scheduled for release in the summer of 2018.

The final episode aired on the TV channel "Russia-1" in February 2017. The events take place in the 90s of the 20th century.

The plot revolves around a young individual who works as an anesthesiologist in a city hospital. Professor Nelsky considers her to be his best student and successor. One fine day, her paths cross with an extraordinary and resolute general. Andrey leads a political party, but a terrible illness hinders his further advancement in his career. Doctors discover that he has cancer. Dobrovolsky ends up in a sanatorium where he meets a charming girl. Despite the significant age difference, Savelieva falls in love with him at first sight. A passionate romance ensues between them. The chosen one quickly proposes to her, but the wedding was not meant to happen. The groom dies during the operation, and the only suspect in his death becomes the bride. A close friend of the deceased is convinced that a planned murder took place and tries to figure out the situation. Weighty evidence is found in the main heroine's apartment. The court sentences her to 15 years of imprisonment. A devoted fan helps the lady escape to France, where she spends almost two decades.

The key roles were played by Karina Andolenko, the star of the films "Golden Horde" and "Nevolashka-2", Danila Dunaev, who appeared in the TV series "Pregnancy Test" and "Mata Hari", Sergey Puskepalis, known for the projects "Metro" and "Aptekar", and other artists.

The premiere took place on January 30, 2017. A total of 8 episodes were filmed. The script tells the story of a talented medical worker who is forced to flee her native country for a whopping 17 years. But she does not give up hope of restoring justice and finding the true killer of her loved one.
