About the series

The TV series "Durnaia krov", which aired in 2013 in Ukraine and in 2014 in Russia on Channel One, tells the sad story of Maria, a provincial girl. At the moment when the girl went to conquer the music school in the capital, she was violated by the son of a capital oligarch, Ruslan Kostomarov. Instead of sympathy and support, Masha encounters a wave of misunderstanding when she learns that she is pregnant by her rapist. She decides to leave her first child and raise him as a favorite. The father of Ruslan intervenes in the story and tries in every possible way to help with money and participate in the life of his grandson. In order to punish his son, the newly minted grandfather transfers the industrial empire to the child. As the plot unfolds, it turns out that Maria is the illegitimate daughter of one of his colleagues. Now the younger Kostomarov will try to fix the situation and reclaim his inheritance.

A total of 14 episodes have been released, each lasting up to an hour. The show has high ratings among the target audience - women aged 18-49, as it includes many relevant life issues.
