Escape at Dannemora Season 2

A representative of the film company Red Hour Films has announced their intention to release the second season of the TV series "Escape at Dannemora" no earlier than 2019.

The finale of the first part will be shown on the "Showtime" channel at the end of 2018. The authors based it on a real incident that happened in 2015.

The events take place in a prison located in a major metropolis. It is closely guarded. The prisoners cannot leave the perimeter but are allowed to watch TV and stay informed about the latest news. They have all the necessary conditions for a comfortable life. Many have long adapted and do not want to leave the excellent place. This does not apply to the main character, Richard. He is not willing to endure the instructions of the overseers and carry out their orders. The young man plans to obtain freedom by any means necessary. He negotiates with a fellow unfortunate named David. Together, the desperate guys hope to escape through a tunnel. The fearless heroes are confident that they will outsmart the guards and have the opportunity to be in their homeland. They develop a plan and involve a mutual acquaintance, Tilly, in its implementation. The unfortunate woman works in a sewing workshop and is married to an unpleasant guy. Mitchell is unhappy with her married life and has affairs with both criminals. The lady helps them fulfill their cherished desire and find themselves outside the prison cells.

The main roles are played by Patricia Arquette, known for her roles in "Boyhood" and "Wildlife", Paul Dano, who appeared in "The Master" and "Okja", Eric Lange, who has appeared in TV series such as "Stalker" and "Waco", and other actors.

The premiere will take place in the second half of 2018. There are 8 episodes produced. The story revolves around two friends who dare to cross the line of the law.
