In 2017, the BYUtv channel pleased fans of science fiction with a new series. This multi-part film, created by Orson Scott Card and Aaron Johnston, the creators of "Ender's Game," consists of ten episodes and is focused on describing a possible future of planet Earth.

Four centuries from our time, the human race has become extinct. The world has undergone drastic changes, with ruins and uninhabitable areas everywhere. However, the planet's owners are not to blame for the destruction of all living beings. This happened at the hands of extraterrestrial beings. Nevertheless, the alien civilization made efforts to revive a small group of humans. The aliens intend to repopulate the Earth with humans in order to restore the human race. Strangely enough, all these changes hide many dangers. The aliens' intentions and the cause of extinction remain a mystery to the new inhabitants. The humans must discover the true intentions of their creators and, most importantly, survive. The human colony tries to understand the meaning of their own existence and adapt to the conditions under the burden of unwelcome guests. Ezra, Abram, and Fina must continue the lineage, but they decide to hold the extraterrestrials accountable for the genocide of humanity. A great battle is looming, but the opponents' forces are far from equal.
