Fear the Walking Dead Season 5

David Alpert, the executive producer of the TV series "Fear the Walking Dead," announced that the release of the 5th season is scheduled for mid-2019.

The broadcast of the final episode of Season 4 will take place on the "AMC" channel in the second half of 2018. The story revolves around people whose lives are suddenly struck by a zombie apocalypse.

What awaits the viewers in Season 5

Madison Clark lives in Los Angeles and is trying to raise her two children from a failed marriage. Her son Nick suffers from drug addiction and constantly spends time in questionable places. One day, he goes to a drug den where he blacks out after taking another dose. When the young man regains consciousness, he comes across the lifeless body of his torn apart comrade. Standing next to the corpse is his old friend Gloria. The girl has turned into a bloodthirsty creature and is unable to satisfy her hunger for human flesh. Terrified, the young man runs away from the girl and gets hit by a passing car. He is taken to a clinic where he receives medical assistance. The drug addict tells his family members about what happened, but they don't take his words seriously. Only Madison's new romantic interest, a school teacher named Travis, decides to visit the den and find out what's going on. Soon after this unpleasant incident, the whole neighborhood learns that ruthless monsters roam the city streets.

The key roles were played by: Cliff Curtis, known for his roles in "The Whale Rider" and "Sunshine", Elizabeth Rodriguez, who appeared in feature films "Side Effects" and "Cocaine", Kim Dickens, a star of the movies "Gone Girl" and "Thank You for Smoking", and several others.

The premiere took place on August 23, 2015. There are about 50 episodes produced. An ordinary teacher performs brave actions in order to save his loved ones from the monsters.
