Fortitude Season 3

The film company Fifty Fathoms Productions, engaged in the production of the British crime drama "Fortitude", has announced its decision to extend the thriller for a 3rd season. The continuation is planned to be shown in early 2018.

The final series of the second season will be released in the spring of 2017. The broadcast is carried out by the foreign TV channel "Sky Atlantic". The events take place in a calm picturesque town located in the Arctic. When a mysterious incident occurs in the secluded town, the circumstances of the case are assigned to a law enforcement officer living in a noisy metropolis.

The guy goes to a region where huge white bears live next to peaceful residents. Once the main way of earning money for the majority of the villagers was mines. But soon they exhausted themselves, and people urgently started looking for another source of income. They found it in eco-tourism. By strange coincidence, just on the eve of the event designed to launch a new business, an unknown person commits a murder of the professor overseeing this project. Englishman Morton intends to solve the crime in hot pursuit. Local Sheriff Anderson promises to assist the detective in finding the criminal. However, the man realizes that he is not telling his partner everything.

The key roles were played by Richard Dormer, who became famous after participating in the TV series "The Musketeers" and "Game of Thrones", Sophie Grabol, known for full-length films "Pelle the Conqueror" and "Blinking Lights", Stanley Tucci, who starred in the film "Patient Zero" and the adventure saga "The Hunger Games" and many other actors.

The world premiere took place on January 29, 2015. Around 20 episodes were filmed in total. The main character, an experienced investigator from London, is forced to change his place of residence in order to investigate a series of mysterious crimes.
