Comedic-fantasy series of American production from the directing duo Evan Goldberg and Seth Rogen. The first season of the multi-series film was introduced to the world in 2017, with the main role played by Josh Hutcherson, with the writers giving his character the same name.

The plot of the series describes the events happening in the life of a guy named Josh Futterman. Despite being a mature boy, he still lives with his parents and is a typical nerd. He has no friends or girlfriend and works as a scientific employee in one of the run-down research centers. One of Josh's main shortcomings is his complete inability to communicate with the opposite sex. He experiences an unprecedented sense of insecurity and awkwardness at the mere sight of a girl. But all the failures in real life end when Josh sits down at his computer at night and plays his favorite video game, "Cybergeddon," where he is the coolest of all gamers. One day, Futterman completes all the stages of the tests prepared by the creators of "Cybergeddon," and the next day, strange people approach him, claiming that the virtual program was a test idea, its goal being to select the best computer hero, the one who will go back in time and save humanity from mass destruction. Futterman is in shock because his favorite pastime has invaded reality and become a part of Josh's life.
