New release for fans of vampire horror – the TV series "Let the Right One In". The project was filmed based on the eponymous Swedish film of 2009 directed by Tomas Alfredson and written by John Ajvide Lindqvist. The mystical remake is created by the well-known cable and satellite channel A&E (USA), competing for the rights to the project with Showtime. Among the screenwriters are Jeff Davis and Brandon Boyce, known for the project "Teen Wolf".

The debut book by the Swedish writer was published in 2004. The novel quickly became popular, and the film based on its plot received numerous awards and good reviews from film critics. The original plot of the Swedish drama tells the story of a strange friendship between a teenager named Oskar and a girl named Eli. Oskar is 12 years old, he goes to school, where he is considered an outcast. Peers constantly bully him, make cruel jokes, and humiliate him. Naturally, the boy becomes more and more introverted and insecure, and his hottest desire is cruel revenge on his tormentors. Eli, a young individual who is a vampire and has been living for over a hundred years but looks fresh and young, becomes Oskar's only friend. She supposedly lives with a father who resembles more of her guardian. Will the ancient vampire help Oskar get revenge for his humiliations? Time will tell, but for now, a series of very mysterious crimes are happening in the town...
