The TV series "Year of Culture" with Fedor Bondarchuk as the channel's TNT management will be extended for a 2nd season until 2019 only in case of the success of the first season. We will learn more details only after the next closed presentation of the "TNT" television network.

The TV series "Year of Culture" will start in 2018. It can already be said that TNT has given the audience the most "star-studded" series in a long time - it is rare to see so many stars of big cinema in leading roles in TV projects!

What will happen in the second season

In the next season, Fedor Bondarchuk, who superbly fit into the role of a ministry official, irresponsibly participating in the embezzlement of funds allocated for culture and squandering them at social events, will have to once again pull out the local university under direct presidential control. After his success in previous episodes, he is forgiven and allowed to return to the capital. But he has grown fond of his position. Moreover, the romance with the heroine Medynich, which started while he was in "exile", threatens to become something serious, and our hero is passionately unwilling to take on any obligations.

The series "Year of Culture" shines with talented actors from big cinema. In addition to Bondarchuk himself, who has agreed for the first time to play the main role in a TV project (before that, he only stooped to episodic appearances, like playing the oligarch Belokochanny in "Rashkin" or the owner of the hockey club in "Youth"), "Year of Culture" is adorned by Alexander Lykov (Perpelkin in "Gambit" and Treville in Zhigunov's "Musketeers"), the beautiful Olga Medynich from "Svetofor" and "Lucky Chance", and the young actor from Serbia Milos Bikovich (Roma Belkin in the second "Soulless" and the owner of the Elephant Hotel from CTC).

Let us remind you that the first episode of "Year of Culture" will be shown in 2018. The story of the ministry official, his downfall as a result of a sharp question on the direct presidential line, and the attempts of Bondarchuk's character to comfortably settle in the province, won over viewers with its social satire, domestic sarcasm, unexpected plot twists on the verge of farce, and acting expertise. Not everyone (to put it mildly) was pleased with the "Varangian" from the capital, and the rector of the scandalous university even tried to make the hero's life unbearable.
